We’re a local crew, not a call center. The people who answer your call, show up in the van, and climb into your attic all live here in the Fresno area. Glenn Hartley has been running Woolsey Insulation Fresno since 2002, and he’s built the team the slow way: hiring people who actually want to do right by their neighbors. Most of our installers have been with us for years. They know Fresno summers. They know what a 140-degree attic feels like in August. And they know insulation, not as a side gig, but as the trade they chose.

Glenn Hartley, Owner
Glenn founded Woolsey Insulation Fresno in 2002, and he still walks job sites every week. He’s the one who answers the phone at 2 a.m. when a homeowner in Clovis calls about a ceiling leak that soaked their blown-in fiberglass. Glenn started in the trade by crawling through attics off Shaw Avenue before the city boomed, and he never lost the instinct to check every corner before signing off on a job. He writes every guarantee himself and backs it with the 365-Day Done Right Promise. When he’s not in an attic, he’s usually tending his backyard citrus trees, which he insists are the only sensible thing to grow in this climate.
Marcus R., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Woolsey for eleven years, longer than any other crew member besides Glenn. He’s our lead technician, which means he handles the complicated attic insulation jobs: vaulted ceilings, knee walls in older Fig Garden homes, and tight crawl spaces where most people won’t even fit. Marcus is certified in spray foam application and can read a thermal boundary problem the way a mechanic reads an engine. He’s also the crew’s unofficial fog detector, because he grew up in the Tower District and will tell you exactly which mornings the tule fog will slow the drive east.
Denise L., Senior Installer
Denise joined Woolsey six years ago after working in residential construction, and she’s our specialist in blown-in cellulose and fiberglass batt installation. She handles the big open attics, the ones with uneven joist spacing and air handler platforms that need careful cutting and fitting. Denise is meticulous about sealing top plates and can lights before insulation goes in, because she’s seen what a single missed gap does to a summer electric bill. She keeps a photo album on her phone of the messiest attics she’s transformed, and she’ll show you the before and after if you ask nicely.
Tony V., Apprentice Installer
Tony is the newest member of the crew, but he’s already a familiar face on job sites from Madera to Selma. He started as a helper two years ago and is working toward full spray foam certification under Marcus’s supervision. Tony is the one who hauls the hoses, keeps the rig organized, and makes sure the job site stays clean from the moment we arrive to the moment we leave. He’s also the tallest person on the team, which means he gets assigned to every attic with a low access hatch, and he pretends to enjoy it.
