Insulation Before & After in Fresno, CA
Anyone can tell you their insulation works. Showing you what a Fresno attic looks like before and after we’re done is a different thing entirely. The photos below are the projects we walk through every week: attics with 3 inches of settled fiberglass, walls with gaps you can feel from a hallway, garages that hit 110 degrees by noon. The after photos show what a real difference proper insulation makes in a Central Valley home.

Attic Insulation Replacement in Woodward Park
Before
AfterThe attic in this Woodward Park home had original fiberglass batts from the 1990s, compressed to about 3 inches in most places. That’s maybe R-11 on a good day, and the upstairs bedrooms were running 10 to 12 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. We removed the old batts, air-sealed the ceiling penetrations, and blew Owens Corning cellulose to R-38 across the full attic floor. The homeowner told us the upstairs finally holds temperature within a degree or two of the downstairs thermostat.
Spray Foam Insulation for a Bonus Room Over the Garage
Before
AfterBonus rooms over garages are notorious in Fresno. The floor sits over an unconditioned garage and the ceiling sits directly under a hot roof deck, so the room bakes in summer and never warms up in winter. We applied Icynene open-cell spray foam, which is a two-part liquid that expands on contact and seals gaps airtight, to the underside of the roof deck. That one change turned the room from a storage dumping ground into a usable home office year round.
Whole-Attic Air Sealing and Cellulose in Tower District
Before
AfterTower District homes have character, and they also have decades of small holes drilled through top plates for wiring, plumbing vents, and recessed lights. Air moves through those holes like a chimney, pulling conditioned air out of the house and dragging attic heat in. We sealed every penetration with foam and caulk, then blew GreenFiber cellulose to R-38. The homeowner saw their summer cooling bill drop noticeably the first month, and the house stopped smelling like attic dust every time the AC kicked on.
Garage Ceiling Insulation and Drywall Repair in Clovis

This Clovis homeowner had started a garage conversion and stalled when the ceiling work got complicated. Exposed joists meant the garage was pulling heat from the attic directly into the space. We installed Johns Manville fiberglass batts in the ceiling bays, which is a cost-effective way to slow heat transfer without the full spray foam investment. The garage now stays about 15 degrees cooler on a 100-degree day, which makes working on cars or using a home gym far more reasonable.
Old Blown-In Insulation Removal and Replacement in Sunnyside

A Sunnyside homeowner called us because they had a rodent problem handled, but the attic was left with contaminated insulation. We removed the old rockwool, sanitized the attic floor, and blew in Knauf fiberglass at R-30. The difference in air quality was immediate, and the homeowner no longer smelled anything drifting down from the attic hatch when the wind shifted.
